How to treat pure ground-glass density nodules in the lungs

Pure ground glass density nodules in the lungs are most often considered to be inflammatory, tuberculous, or tumor. Currently, lung nodules can be treated by anti-inflammatory, anti-tuberculosis and surgical methods.
1. Anti-inflammatory treatment: Pure ground-glass nodules are mostly bounded by 5mm in size. For those with a diameter of less than 5mm, if there are no clinical symptoms, there is no need for special treatment, and regular CT follow-up is sufficient. For ground-glass nodules larger than 5mm in diameter or those with uneven edges, we can try to treat them with drugs such as moxifloxacin, and then repeat the chest CT examination within three months.
2. Anti-tuberculosis treatment: lung nodules caused by tuberculosis are mostly benign nodules, if the lesion is stable without pleural pulling, burr sign, etc., no special treatment is needed. If the patient is in the active stage of tuberculosis, he needs to go to the designated hospital for anti-tuberculosis treatment.
3. Surgery: Pure glass nodules with a diameter larger than 10mm or with signs such as burr sign, lobulation, pleural pull sign, pleural depression sign and vascular cluster sign need to be puncture biopsy or surgical treatment.
Whether and how to treat pure ground-glass nodules in the lungs need to be judged by a professional doctor, and if you find ground-glass nodules in the lungs, you need to consult a doctor in time, so as to avoid delaying your condition.
