Acute myeloid m4 leukemia is an acute granulomonocytic leukemia, one of the acute myeloid leukemias typed according to FAB. The following aspects are explained in terms of disease criteria, clinical manifestations and treatment. 1. The classification criteria for AML m4 leukemia are: bone marrow primitive cells account for more than 30% of bone marrow non-erythroid nucleated cells (meaning bone marrow nucleated cell count excluding plasma cells, lymphocytes, basophils, macrophages, and all erythroid nucleated cells), granulocytes ≥ 20% at all stages, and monocytes ≥ 20% at all stages. 2. The clinical manifestations of acute myeloid m4 leukemia are mainly anemia, fever and bleeding. More characteristic manifestations are oral and skin lesions, such as swollen gingival hyperplasia and blue-gray macules (a kind of purplish-blue hard nodule) on the skin. 3. If the above symptoms are present and a similar disease is suspected, prompt medical attention is recommended, and early treatment under the guidance of a physician is recommended. Medications include cytarabine and Zoerythromycin.
