CT, or computed tomography, results come out of the time, emergency patients usually need half an hour, outpatients usually need 2 to 4 hours, hospitalized patients need a little longer, it is recommended to pick up the results every other day at noon or in the evening. 1. For emergency patients, the results are usually available after half an hour. 2. For general outpatients, depending on the size of the hospital and the number of patients, the results can be obtained after 2~4 hours. 3. For hospitalized patients, the time for the results to come out varies according to the time of the computed tomography examination and the number of patients. If the examination is conducted in the morning, it is recommended that the results be taken in the afternoon, and if the examination is conducted in the afternoon, the results can be taken on the next day. If the number of patients in the hospital is small, the results can usually be returned to the ward on the same day. For computed tomography, the results cannot be obtained immediately after the machine has taken the picture, but need to be read by the diagnostic doctor first, and the report will be sent to the higher level doctor for review and approval before it can be released, so it is recommended that the patient waits patiently after the computed tomography examination.
