Transaminases of 150 U/L indicate mild or moderate impairment of liver function, and the severity of the disease cannot be judged by transaminases alone. It is necessary to go to the hospital to receive examination, which needs to be combined with the patient’s medical history, the cause of the disease, and other tests to make a comprehensive judgment. Aminotransferase includes alanine aminotransferase and glutamine aminotransferase, and its normal standard is generally 0-40U/L. Aminotransferase 150U/L is more than three times higher than the normal value, which is considered to be the cause of pathology; if it exceeds the multiplier by a higher amount, it suggests that the liver damage is more serious. However, it is not possible to determine the overall severity of the condition solely from the transaminases. To determine the severity of the disease, it is necessary to take into account the cause of the disease, the medical history, the degree of bilirubin elevation, the degree of coagulation impairment, and liver imaging tests, including ultrasound and CT of the liver, to make a comprehensive judgment. In the case of acute viral hepatitis, drug-induced hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, etc., the disease is not serious, and the transaminases can be restored through appropriate hepatoprotective treatment, discontinuation of medication or abstinence from alcohol. If it is chronic liver disease, accompanied by bilirubin abnormality, coagulation function abnormality and so on, then it is more serious, and need to be actively standardized treatment as soon as possible.
