Indications for interventional tumor treatment

The indications for interventional treatment of tumors have strict criteria in medicine, as follows: 1.Surgical removal is recommended in early stage of solid tumors such as liver cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, colon cancer and kidney cancer. However, when cancer is really found, most of them have lost the chance of surgery and interventional treatment can be chosen; 2. Patients cannot tolerate surgery, such as intolerance to general anesthesia, heart problems, respiratory problems, etc., interventional treatment is chosen in this case. Tumor growth requires blood supply, and interventional therapy finds blood supply through blood vessels and embolizes it, while it can also be treated with the help of radiofrequency ablation method. Interventional treatment can be used in the middle and late stages of cancer, as well as in the complications of cancer. Currently, most solid organ tumors can be treated by interventional methods except for hematological malignant diseases.
