Mildly elevated glucose metabolism is considered a possibility that the patient may be in the pre-diabetic stage. Pre-diabetes, usually refers to the patient’s body blood glucose level, although the phenomenon of elevated, but has not yet reached the diagnostic criteria of diabetes mellitus. Fasting blood glucose level is greater than or equal to 6.1mmol/L, but less than 7.0mmol/L, or 75g glucose tolerance test 2 hours after taking sugar blood glucose level is greater than or equal to 7.8mmol/L, but less than 11.1mmol/L, are called prediabetic state. Patients are advised to go to the hospital for glucose tolerance test, insulin function, glycosylated hemoglobin, thyroid function and other tests to clarify the cause before treatment.
