Foot entropion after cerebral infarction (occlusion) is a common complication of the lower extremity in post-stroke patients. Patients often exhibit ptosis and pronation deformity of the ankle joint. The training methods for inversion deformity of the foot are as follows: First, the patient should maintain a neutral position when lying in bed, mainly to prevent external rotation of the hip joint of the lower limb, and to maintain mild slight flexion of the knee joint and dorsiflexion of the ankle joint. Second, the patient can perform dorsiflexion of the ankle joint when lying down. At this time, the patient’s family or the rehabilitator should perform dorsiflexion exercises for the patient’s ankle joint, generally 15 times as a group, three groups a day to promote the dorsiflexion of the ankle joint. Third, the patient can perform dorsiflexion training when sitting or standing. At this time, the patient should put a 5-6 cm sponge cushion under the foot and step on it with the affected limb to do dorsiflexion of the ankle joint, generally 30 times for one group, three groups a day.
