How to correct clubfoot in children

Corrective methods of foot inversion in children include non-surgical and surgical treatments, but the specific efficacy varies from person to person.
1. Non-surgical treatment:
(1) Ponseti correction method: it is divided into the orthopedic stage and the stage of wearing foot abduction orthopedic support. The orthopedic stage is often used to manipulate orthopedics, continuous series of plaster immobilization and other methods to make the deformity completely corrected.
(2) Manipulative plate correction: It is mainly applied to infants within 1 year of age. The deformity is corrected with manipulative orthopedic repositioning, followed by immobilization with soft bandages.
2. Surgical treatment: mainly applicable to non-surgical treatment is not effective. Common surgical methods include Achilles tendon lengthening and release of contracture tissue on the medial side of the foot.
