Patients with cervical spondylosis should not take Tianshu Capsules. Tianshu capsule is mainly used for the treatment of headache caused by blood stasis and obstruction of collaterals or hyperactivity of liver yang for a long time, with a fixed place of pain, or dizziness and dystocia (pain in the area of coeruleus and ribs), insomnia and irritability, with a dark tongue or petechiae, etc., which has no role in the treatment of cervical spondylosis.
Tianshu capsule is a common clinical proprietary Chinese medicine, composed of chuanxiong and tianma. It has the efficacy of activating blood circulation, calming the liver, clearing the channels and relieving pain, and can treat headache caused by hyperactivity of liver yang or obstruction of channels by stasis of blood, which can be characterized by headache, pain in a fixed place, dizziness, distension and pain in the abdomen and ribs, insomnia and irritability, bitter taste in the mouth, darkening of the tongue or petechiae, and slippery pulse; and vasovagal neuralgia can be seen in the above mentioned symptoms.
It should be noted that pregnant women and women with excessive menstrual flow are prohibited; stomach discomfort, head swelling and excessive menstrual flow in women are occasionally seen.
It is recommended to regulate the use of Tianshu Capsules under the guidance of a doctor.
