Hysteroscopy is not mandatory for IVF and can be chosen according to individual circumstances.
Hysteroscopy can visualize the cervical canal, the uterine cavity and the opening of the fallopian tubes, and is suitable for suspected uterine adhesions and malformations, unexplained infertility, and so on. IVF is an in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer technique, and hysteroscopy may not be necessary in cases of infertility due to male factor infertility and ovulation abnormalities.
For unexplained, endometrial polyps, submucosal fibroids and other infertility need to undergo hysteroscopy and then embryo transfer under the guidance of the doctor, luteal support is given after the transfer, and blood or urine pregnancy test is conducted 2 weeks later to determine pregnancy, and ultrasonography is conducted at 4-5 weeks to determine normal pregnancy.
Couples who want to undergo IVF are advised to visit regular hospitals and under the guidance of doctors to prepare for the treatment.
