Patients with left adrenal tumor may have abnormal secretion of aldosterone, cortisol, catecholamines and sex hormones, which mainly manifests as hypertension, acne, hirsutism, metabolic disorders and other symptoms.
1. Aldosterone secretion abnormality: mainly manifested as paralysis, nocturia, muscle weakness, hypertension and other uncomfortable symptoms, and some patients may also have convulsions of hands and feet, dizziness, headache, periodic paralysis and other symptoms.
2. Abnormal secretion of cortisol: mainly manifested as centripetal obesity, purple lines on the skin, fatigue, hirsuteness, buffalo back, full moon face, facial acne and other symptoms.
3. Abnormal catecholamine secretion: mainly manifested as metabolic disorders, hypertension, patients often have increased blood glucose and urinary glucose. A few patients may have hypokalemia.
4. Abnormal secretion of sex hormones: manifested as feminized signs in male patients, such as lack of beard, thin voice, chest development, etc., and masculinized signs in female patients, such as low voice, hairy, breast reduction, etc..
