There are two ways to self-test if you are ovulating: i. Measurement of basal body temperature. Second, judging by the change of vaginal discharge. The so-called basal body temperature means that the first thing you do in the morning is to take your body temperature, and the temperature at this time is called the basal body temperature. After ovulation, due to the increase in the level of progesterone, the basal body temperature will increase by 0.3-0.5 degrees Celsius, so the curve depicted by the basal body temperature monitoring can determine whether there is ovulation or not. Due to the increase in progesterone, the discharge will change accordingly. The discharge will become more abundant, thin in quality, and prone to straining, so by observing the change in vaginal discharge, you can determine whether ovulation has occurred. In contrast, the most accurate way is to go to the hospital for a transvaginal ultrasound.
