There is no essential difference between tonsils and tonsils, and “tonsils” is a common name for tonsils. However, tonsils is a medical term for the lymphatic tissue in the nasal cavity, nasopharynx, oral cavity, oropharynx, as well as the root of the tongue and laryngopharynx. The tonsils in the nasopharynx include the adenoids, pharyngeal tonsils, pharyngeal tonsils, and the palatine tonsils, also known as the tonsils, which are commonly known as the tonsils. There are also the lingual tonsils, which form the defense system of the oropharynx, nasopharynx, and laryngopharynx.
