ACL ruptures are generally not allowed to play soccer. ACL ruptures require treatment and should be avoided by avoiding further damage to the meniscus, cartilage or joint capsule caused by strenuous knee exercises. ACL rupture will affect the stability of the knee joint. Strenuous knee exercises such as ball games, running or hiking after knee instability will cause further damage to the meniscus, cartilage, joint capsule or ligaments of the knee joint, especially for those with partial rupture. After a complete rupture of the ACL, there is usually obvious dysfunction of the knee joint, such as inability to extend or flex. In this case, ACL reconstruction is needed to treat the problem, when the activity function is restored to be able to carry out appropriate sports, but still need to avoid strenuous activities.
