What’s wrong with pain in the chest triangle

Pain in the chest triangle is mostly seen in trauma, gastric diseases, costochondritis, heart diseases and so on.

3. Costochondritis: The costal cartilage is connected between the sternum and the ribs. When inflammation occurs in the costal cartilage, pain may appear in the chest triangle, and the pain will be aggravated when you take a deep breath or cough.
4. Heart disease: Most of the heart is located on the left side of the chest cavity, and a small part of it is located on the right side of the median line. Therefore, when heart attack, myocarditis, pericarditis and other pathologies occur in the heart, in the chest triangle will also produce symptoms of pain.
