Multiple renal cysts usually refer to more than two cysts. Most of them are benign diseases. Early stage of multiple renal cysts are usually detected by ultrasound or CT imaging during physical examination. If renal multiple cysts are asymptomatic and without complications, they usually do not require treatment and can be reviewed once every six months to one year. For large cysts with a diameter of >5cm, aspiration and injection of sclerosing agent such as anhydrous ethanol can be considered to prevent recurrence. Surgery should be considered for huge cysts with volume >500ml, patients with malignant tendency or recurrence after puncture. If patients find multiple renal cysts, it is recommended to go to regular hospitals in time and give targeted treatment or therapy under the guidance of doctors.
