Itching on the body is not necessarily a sign of cancer, and there is no fixed itch in any area where it is a sign of cancer. Itchy skin is now more common clinically as pruritus, which is a skin disease with itchy skin without primary skin damage. The causes of pruritus, especially generalized pruritus, are mostly seen in patients with uremia, biliary cirrhosis, hyper- or hypothyroidism, diabetes mellitus, and then malignant tumors, i.e. cancer patients, including psychoneurotic pruritus. Another is the stimulation of external environmental factors, such as elevated temperature, or the stimulation of biological or chemical substances in the season or work environment, which can easily lead to pruritus. Itchy skin is also a complex disease in clinical practice, which needs to be diagnosed reasonably first and then treated after the diagnosis.
