How long is the recovery period for myocarditis

The recovery period for myocarditis is usually 2 to 4 weeks and may be 1 to 3 months in some patients. There are differences due to individual constitution and condition. Patients with mild myocarditis can recover in 14~30 days after treatment, and need to be rechecked in three months, if there is no abnormality in the indexes, it is basically cured. Mild myocarditis patients recover in 2~4 weeks, medium-sized patients need 1~3 months or longer; if the violent myocarditis or severe myocarditis, the recovery period needs several months, or even 1~2 years, and some patients may migrate into chronic myocarditis.
