Pancreas exam is mrcp or enhanced plain scanning nmri

The mrcp and enhanced plain MRI of the pancreas are complementary to each other and cannot replace each other. The mrcp examination is magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography, which is used to check whether the anatomical position of the pancreaticobiliary system is normal or not, and is able to clearly show the main pancreatic duct, gallbladder and bile ducts, and has high sensitivity to the biliary system diseases as well as obstructive diseases, such as cholelithiasis, gallbladder stones, acute and chronic pancreatitis, choledochal cysts, pancreatic duct dilatation, and so on. MRI+enhancement can clearly show the details of the lesions, detect small lesions and examine the composition of the tissues, which is of great value in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of pancreatic diseases. Therefore, which examination should be performed on a patient needs to be evaluated according to the patient’s condition, and the patient needs to follow the doctor’s instructions for regular examination or review.
