Xiao Jian Zhong Tang works by warming the middle Jiao, tonifying the deficiency, harmonizing the li and easing the urgency (harmonizing the middle Jiao and relieving pain), and improving symptoms such as shen xia xia xia (mental exhaustion and physical weakness), xue xia xia (restlessness caused by deficiency heat in the body), and a lack of color in the face.
