Why do cigarettes make you dizzy?

Cigarette dizziness may be caused by insufficient cerebral blood supply, posterior cerebral vasospasm and nicotine poisoning.

1. Insufficient cerebral blood supply: nicotine in cigarettes will accelerate arteriosclerosis, which will lead to insufficient cerebral blood supply and insufficient blood supply to the heart, which will result in symptoms such as dizziness and panic.

2. Cerebral vascular spasm: the active ingredients in cigarettes will cause stimulation of the brain, adrenaline is secreted in large quantities, which leads to increased blood flow, cerebral vascular contraction, causing cerebral vascular spasm, resulting in dizziness.

3. Nicotine poisoning: some people usually experience dizziness when they first start smoking, commonly known as drunken cigarettes, but this is actually a mild manifestation of nicotine poisoning. Nicotine will have a direct stimulating effect on cranial blood vessels and nerves, thus causing dizziness.

If patients experience severe or persistent dizziness when smoking, they should go to the hospital in time to receive professional treatment from doctors.
