Bone scab, usually refers to a kind of injury scab formed at the broken end of the fracture during the healing process after the bone is injured, and the light-colored mist that can be seen around the fracture in the display in the X-ray is the bone scab. In the recovery phase after fracture, it is mainly divided into hematoma mechanization phase, initial bone scab development phase and bone scab renewal and reconstruction shaping phase. Typically, the initial bone scab development phase, which is when a bone scab begins to grow at the fracture break. Typically, there will be a noticeable growth of the scab at the fracture site about four weeks after the fracture. The formation of the bone scab needs to go through a process, and its composition is constantly changing, from the initial bone scab in the early stage, and gradually develop into a mature bone scab in the later stage. The presence of a scab indicates that the patient’s fracture is slowly healing, and the process of scab formation is also the process of fracture healing.
