What is cancer?

Cancer is a collective name for a large group of malignant tumors. Cancer is a chronic disease and a malignant tumor. Cancer may occur in various parts of the body, such as common squamous carcinoma of the head and neck, thyroid cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, etc. These are more common. The more common cancers in women are breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, etc. Cancer needs to undergo comprehensive anti-tumor treatment because cancer is also a systemic disease. If the cancer is relatively early, surgery can be considered as the first radical treatment and then combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy. If the cancer is found to be late and there is no way to operate, only palliative treatment, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine, targeted and immunotherapy, can be done. If there is no recurrence for more than 5 years, it is considered as clinical cure. For cancer, we can only observe the disease at any time according to the treatment and cannot predict the survival period completely.
