What to do if a woman can’t urinate

Women who cannot urinate are advised to go to the hospital in time to insert a urinary catheter for catheterization, and then further ultrasound and other investigations will be conducted, and different treatment measures will be taken according to the urinary tract infections, stones and tumors.
1. For various reasons leading to difficulty in urination, especially in patients with acute urinary retention, it is recommended to immediately insert a urinary catheter for catheterization to drain the urine out of the body.
2. If it is clear that the difficulty in urination is caused by edema of the bladder and urethral mucosa due to urinary tract infection after routine urinalysis, it is recommended to take drugs such as levofloxacin and cefaclor under the guidance of the doctor for treatment.
3. If it is clear after ultrasound that there are stones or tumors that cause urinary tract obstruction causing difficulty in urination, it is recommended to take laser lithotripsy, surgical removal of stones and surgical resection of tumors according to the location and size of the stones and tumors.
Therefore, it is recommended to go to the hospital for catheterization and further examination to clarify the cause of the disease and provide symptomatic treatment.
