Can warm menstrual soup treat heavy menstrual flow with blood clots?

Wen Jing Tang can be used to treat symptoms of heavy menstrual flow with blood clots caused by deficiency and coldness in the Chong Ren (Yang Qi deficiency that cannot warm the Chong and Ren veins) and stagnation of Blood stasis. It is not suitable for other types of symptoms.
Warming Menstruation Tang is composed of Cornus Officinalis, Angelica Sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong, Cinnamon Branches, Radix Panax Ginseng, Colla Corii Asini, Peony Pi, Ginger, Semixia, and Ophiopogon, etc. It has the efficacy of warming menstruation to disperse cold, nourishing blood to remove stasis, and is effective in treating the symptoms of blood overflowing out of the channels due to deficiency of coldness in the Chong Ren and stagnation of Blood stasis and obstruction of meridian channels, and heavy menstruation with clots.
Patients with Chong Ren Deficiency and Cold, Blood stasis and stagnation type treated by Wen Jing Tang also showed symptoms such as pain in the abdomen, hot hands (irritability and sultriness), fever in the evening, dry lips and mouth, irregular menstruation, and dark red tongue.
Patients with internal solid heat should avoid using Wen Jing Tang. If adverse reactions such as mouth and tongue sores, dry stools, etc. occur after taking the medicine, stop taking the medicine. Do not eat cold food during the period of taking the medicine and pay attention to keep warm.
