Why allergic rhinitis is always bad

The reason why allergic rhinitis is always serious may be related to being in a sensitizing environment for a long time, contacting allergic substances, etc., and not getting effective treatment. The main manifestations of allergic rhinitis include nasal itching, nasal congestion, sneezing, nasal discharge, olfactory impairment, etc. Allergic rhinitis can be categorized into perennial allergic rhinitis and seasonal allergic rhinitis, and causes of perennial allergic rhinitis include mites, fungi and house dust, etc. Seasonal allergic rhinitis is usually related to seasonal changes, and common allergens include pollen and artemisia, etc. Long-term exposure to allergenic environments and frequent contact with allergic substances may lead to persistent allergic rhinitis that cannot be relieved. It is recommended to improve the living environment and minimize exposure to allergic substances. Allergic rhinitis should be treated with standardized treatment as prescribed by the doctor, with oral or topical nasal medication depending on the condition, including antihistamines, anti-leukotrienes, nasal decongestants, nasal anticholinergics, and nasal glucocorticoids. Moderate to severe persistent allergic rhinitis: nasal glucocorticosteroids are preferred, and oral antihistamines and/or antileukotrienes should be added at the beginning of treatment if symptoms are severe. Surgery for adenoid and/or tonsil hypertrophy can improve symptoms such as nasal congestion and snoring. Regular treatment under medical supervision is required at the onset of symptoms.
