The treatment of dilated cardiomyopathy generally includes general treatment, drug treatment, surgical treatment as well as other treatments.
1. General treatment: need to actively control the infection, but also strict restriction of alcohol and smoking, and actively correct fluid overload and electrolyte disorders, need to improve nutritional imbalance.
2. Drug therapy: angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors such as enalapril, beta receptor antagonists such as bisoprolol and carvedilol, aldosterone antagonists such as spironolactone and eplerenone, anticoagulants such as warfarin, diuretics such as furosemide and hydrochlorothiazide.
3. Surgery: usually heart transplantation or left ventricular decompression angioplasty.
4. Other treatments: including immunological therapy, ultrafiltration therapy for heart failure, left ventricular assist device therapy, and cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure.
