What are the treatment options for lung nodules

Lung nodules include inflammatory nodules, tuberculous nodules, tumor nodules, and the treatment includes drug therapy, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and so on. 1. Inflammatory nodules: mainly nodules caused by inflammation stimulation. For inflammatory nodules caused by bacterial infection, penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotic drugs, such as amoxicillin and cephalosporin, can be used. 2. Tuberculosis nodules: nodules caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection should be treated with anti-tuberculosis drugs, such as rifampicin, isoniazid and ethambutol, in full dosage and course of treatment. 3. Tumor nodules: benign and malignant nodules. For benign tumor nodules, if the nodules are small and have no obvious symptoms, they can be left untreated for the time being, but should be observed dynamically. If the nodule is relatively large, surgical resection can be taken. For malignant tumor nodules, timely surgical treatment is needed, with chemotherapy and radiotherapy after surgery. 4. Others: Some lung nodules are caused by increased alveolar epithelial cells, lymph node hyperplasia and chronic granuloma. These changes generally do not require special treatment, good dynamic observation and follow-up. Different types of lung nodules have different treatment methods, and it is necessary to give targeted treatment after a clear diagnosis.
