Treatment of splenomegaly: Splenomegaly after typhoid infection can be relieved after antibiotic treatment of the primary disease, and commonly used drugs include ofloxacin, etc. However, splenomegaly caused by cirrhosis often results in hypersplenism, which is difficult to be cured by drugs, and splenectomy is often needed.
