How to treat pediatric stones caused by milk powder

Patient: My relative’s child drank Sanlu milk powder last year caused by the kidney stones, the patient is 1 year old 10 months, just started both kidney stones, after the county hospital treatment, (hospitalized about half a month, and then at home to eat about six months of stone particles), a few days ago in a provincial hospital ultrasound shows that the left kidney stones disappeared, the right kidney stones 0.6CM * 0.4cm doctor said no treatment for the time being, go back to drink more water Do I need to take any treatment in this case? How should I treat it? I don’t know exactly how to treat it. I went to two provincial hospitals, one registered with a pediatrician, but the doctor did not treat this area of the disease and told me to find another doctor, and I waited for 2 days but did not wait! I went to another hospital and saw a pediatrician, who said no treatment was needed for now! Doctor: Based on your child’s condition, I think it should still be treated! Because 0.6 * 0.4cm stone for a one-year-old child, or should be taken seriously! If necessary, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and lithotripsy medication should be given! No delay! Patient: Thank you for your reply! I used to have stones in both kidneys, but the one in the left kidney is smaller and has disappeared. Last year, the right kidney stone was 0.6cm*0.6cm. Now, the urination is normal and no significant changes are found. Is it okay to take lithotripsy medicine only? Will it be effective? If so, what medication should I take? Is it harmful to the child to have extracorporeal lithotripsy? Doctor: I think stones over 0.5 cm should be treated aggressively! (This is the recommendation in the stone treatment guidelines). Extracorporeal lithotripsy is not very harmful if it is well positioned! However, if the stones are not drained and become larger, the outcome is not good and surgery is the only option. Patient: Thank you for your reply! Drink more water and exercise more, then go to the hospital every once in a while to check, if it becomes bigger, then take surgery, if there is no change or become smaller, just leave it for now (mainly because the patient is still small, not yet 2 years old), do you think this will be harmful to the body? Doctor: Be sure to review regularly!
