Is squamous laryngeal cancer curable?

If the patient is in the early stage of laryngeal squamous carcinoma, it is usually curable and the prognosis is relatively good. If the patient is in the middle or late stage of the disease, the treatment is usually more complicated. If laryngeal squamous cancer patients are in the early stage of the disease, they can usually be cured and most of them have good prognosis if they actively cooperate with doctors to take radical surgical resection or radical radiotherapy. However, for some patients in middle and late stages of squamous laryngeal cancer, surgery combined with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, bio-immunotherapy and other treatments are usually needed. The treatment of patients with middle and advanced stage of laryngeal squamous carcinoma is more complicated and the prognosis is poorer than that of patients with early stage of the disease. However, it is still advocated to actively cooperate with doctors in order to control the progression of the disease, alleviate the discomfort and improve the survival rate of laryngeal squamous carcinoma patients. It is recommended that patients with squamous laryngeal cancer should consult regular hospitals for treatment and regular medical checkups. They should also pay attention to keep their body and mind happy, ensure sufficient sleep time, and pay attention to the reasonableness of diet, avoiding spicy and stimulating foods such as chili and mustard.
