Pediatric tracheal foreign bodies endanger children’s lives, and the key is prevention: 1. First of all, children should be educated not to put small toys into their mouths, etc. Avoid laughing, crying or scolding children when eating; change the bad habit of eating while walking or playing while eating, it is best not to give children under 5 years old to eat melon seeds, peanuts, beans and other foods, eat watermelon can first remove the melon seeds; children taking pills is best to take the pills finely researched and then served, do not cries when the child hard to the mouth plug, so as not to inhale the trachea dangerous.  2, when found with a foreign body into the throat and trachea after, parents should let the child to keep quiet, do not cry. If the child coughs, do not stop it, sometimes by coughing, the foreign body can be coughed out, but when coughing, parents should not pat the child’s back, so as not to displace the foreign body. If a foreign body enters the respiratory tract, do not use your hands to pull it out or force it down with large pieces of food. To give first aid on the spot, lift the child’s legs so that the body is suspended, pat the child’s back with the palm of your hand, and cough out the smaller foreign body in the larynx or trachea with the help of coughing. If the situation is critical, the child should be immediately sent to the hospital for treatment.
