The best way to recover from high blood pressure

There is no such thing as the best way to recover from high blood pressure. Patients with high blood pressure can follow the doctor’s instructions to use general treatment, medication and other ways of treatment.
1. General treatment: patients should maintain a low-salt and low-fat diet, eat less salted fish, fatty meat, salted vegetables, barbecue and other foods, avoid smoking and alcohol abuse to prevent blood pressure from rising. Usually, patients should not do strenuous exercise, avoid emotional excitement, and should regularly monitor the blood pressure value.
2. Medication: Patients can take diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide and calcium channel blockers such as nifedipine, amlodipine, felodipine or other kinds of antihypertensive medicines as prescribed by the doctor to promote the decrease of blood pressure. Since hypertension is a lifelong disease, patients need to take the medication at regular intervals as prescribed by the doctor and should not stop taking the medication without authorization.
Since hypertension cannot be cured, patients should take good care of themselves and take medication for the rest of their lives to keep their condition stable.
