Can lung granulomas become cancerous?

Pulmonary granulomatous lesions are generally not cancerous. Lung granulomatous lesions is a collective term for lung diseases that are characterized by granulomatous lesions or contain granulomatous lesions in histopathological form due to various causes. Depending on the cause, there are three main clinical types: infectious granulomas, non-infectious granulomas, and foreign body granulomas. A portion is asymptomatic, discovered for physical examination, with nonspecific clinical manifestations, occasional cough, and ultimately only pathologic diagnosis can confirm the diagnosis. Lung granulomatous lesions are generally not cancerous, and the prognosis is generally good, does not affect normal life, and can be reviewed regularly. If the diagnosis of pulmonary sarcoidosis is confirmed, it is recommended to standardize the treatment under the guidance of a doctor in order to reduce the adverse effects of the disease.
