Hepatitis B and Hepatitis E may coexist and they are not mutually exclusive. Hepatitis B is caused by hepatitis B virus infection, which is mainly transmitted through mother-to-child, blood, sexual contact and daily life contact. Hepatitis E is caused by infection with hepatitis E virus, which is mainly transmitted through the digestive tract, such as eating food contaminated with hepatitis E virus. Although hepatitis B virus and hepatitis E virus are not transmitted through the same way, the same organism may be infected with both viruses at the same time, and the existence of the two viruses is not conflicting. When the body is infected with both viruses at the same time, a corresponding treatment program should be formulated for the two viruses to promote the body to clear the virus.
