Zhenwu Tang

Zhen Wu Tang has the effect of warming yang and inducing diuresis (replenishing yang qi in the body and promoting the circulation of water), and can be used to treat the syndrome of yang deficiency and diuresis (the obstruction of water and liquid circulation in the body caused by yang qi deficiency). Zhen Wu Tang is composed of Poria, Paeoniae Alba, Ginger, Atractylodes Macrocephalae and Radix Polygoni Multiflori, and the various medicines in the formula are combined together to achieve the efficacy of warming yang and promoting the circulation of water, which can be used for the treatment of water flooding caused by yang deficiency, with the clinical manifestations of unfavorable urination, heavy and painful limbs, fear of cold and cold limbs (fear of cold, cold extremities), abdominal pain, dysuria, coughing, vomiting, and a pale, fat tongue, white slippery moss and a thin, dull pulse. Zhenwu Tang’s adverse reactions and contraindications are still unclear, need to be used under the guidance of a physician, self-administration may cause adverse reactions.
