Do Er Chen Wan and Gui Fu Di Huang Wan treat phlegm-dampness?

Er Chen Wan has the effect of treating phlegm-dampness. Gui Fu Di Huang Wan does not have the effect of directly treating phlegm-dampness, but it can be used for deficiency of kidney yang (lack of yang qi in the kidneys), and dysuria (unruly urination). Er Chen Pill is composed of Chen Pi, Licorice, Poria, Ginger and Semixia, which has the effect of regulating qi and harmonizing the stomach, drying dampness and resolving phlegm (removing phlegm in the body with dampness-drying medicines), and can be used for coughing and phlegm, nausea and vomiting, and distension of the chest and epigastric region. The contraindications and adverse reactions of this product are not clear. Gui Fu Di Huang Wan is composed of Cinnamon, Radix Rehmanniae Praeparata, Radix Polygoni Multiflori, Rhizoma Polygoni Multiflori, Rhizoma Zedoariae, and Mudan Pi, etc. It has the effect of warming and tonifying Kidney-Yang (warming and replenishing the kidney yang), and can be used for Kidney-Yang insufficiency, urinary incontinence (unruly urine) or rebound polydipsia, coldness of lumbar and knee, and lack of warmth of the limbs. The adverse effects of this product are not clear, pregnant women are prohibited. The use of the drug should be under the guidance of a professional physician.
