What are the abnormalities of blood count in chronic leukemia?

In chronic granulocytic leukemia, the blood routine mainly shows a very high white blood cell count, which is normally 4000-10000 cells/mm3, while in chronic granulocytic leukemia, it can reach hundreds of thousands, a relatively high platelet count, less significant anemia, and basically normal or slightly low hemoglobin. From the classification of blood smear, it mainly focuses on the obvious increase in the number of neutrophils, the increase in the number of rod-shaped nucleated granulocytes, the obvious increase in the proportion of eosinophils and basophils, and the decrease in the proportion of lymphocytes. If we do blood smear, we will find a large number of less mature granulocytes in the blood, and we can also find a large accumulation of platelets, and the smear can also find eosinophils, especially basophils and eosinophils are significantly higher than normal.
