Patients with physiologically elevated alkaline phosphatase should drink milk every day, eat foods high in protein and calcium, such as fish, shrimp, lean meat and eggs, get more sunlight, take cod liver oil orally if necessary under the guidance of a doctor, and do physical exercise appropriately. Pathological elevation is mainly treated with different drugs according to the specific cause, and food does not play a big role. Patients with liver diseases, such as obstructive jaundice, with markedly elevated alkaline phosphatase should be relieved of obstruction, and stones should be considered for choledochotomy, T-tube drainage or endoscopic ERCP lithotripsy; patients with tumors should undergo radical resection; patients with kidney disease resulting in high alkaline phosphatase should limit protein intake; patients with severe anemia should be treated with blood transfusion, and oral ferrous fumarate can help change the anemia.
