Why does Fenofibrate have to be taken at night?

Fenofibrate is recommended to be taken with or after a meal, in the morning, at noon, or in the evening, and there is no rule or recommendation that requires Fenofibrate to be taken in the evening.
Fenofibrate is mainly used for the treatment of hyperlipidemia that is not well treated with dietary control therapy, and is more effective than cholesterol for triglycerides and mixed hyperlipidemia. Usually, if the drug is not effective for 3 to 6 months, other drugs should be added or changed to other drugs. Liver and kidney functions, blood counts, and cardiac enzymes should be monitored every 3 months during the medication period, and the review period may be extended after 1 year of medication.
Because this product may cause stomach upset, it is usually taken with meals. In addition, Fenofibrate can cause gallstones, and this product is contraindicated in patients with a history of gallbladder disease and cholelithiasis.
