How long does it take for a sebaceous cyst to heal on its own?

Sebaceous cysts are usually difficult to heal on their own and require anti-infection and surgical treatment to heal. Sebaceous cysts are a kind of sebaceous secretion storage and accumulation disease common in young people. It occurs mostly on the face, forehead, back and scrotum. The main clinical manifestations are blackhead acne and cyst infection, and rarely cancer. The cysts vary in size, are painless on pressure, adhere to the skin, have no fluctuating sensation, and can be slightly pushed. Occasionally, small holes may appear in the center of the cyst, and white tofu-like material may flow out when squeezed. Generally, there are no obvious conscious symptoms, but combined with bacterial infection, there may be septicemia, pain and other discomfort. Treatment is mainly based on surgical excision, and anti-infection treatment is required in case of combined infection. People suffering from sebaceous cysts should try to eat less or no fried, spicy food, nuts should not eat more food, should drink more water and eat more vegetables and fruits. Avoid repeated stimulation causing bacterial infection.
