Diet contraindications for stomach bleeding

Gastric bleeding is one of the common clinical symptoms in the emergency department and gastroenterology. First of all, if there is active bleeding, patients are advised to fast and not to eat or drink. Patients whose condition is stable and bleeding has stopped are advised to limit the intake of coarse fiber foods such as celery and leek; also try to avoid stimulating diet such as onion, raw garlic, coffee, strong tea and alcohol; eat a light diet and do not eat foods that are cold, hard, too hot or too hot.
It should be noted that in reality, there can be significant individual differences in the cause and severity of each patient’s condition, and diet is only one part of the disease treatment. Therefore, if you have any discomfort, it is recommended to actively consult a doctor, who will develop an appropriate treatment plan and give you reasonable dietary advice according to your specific situation.
