Will stomach bleeding after drinking heal on its own?

Whether gastric bleeding can heal on its own is mainly related to the severity of the disease, the cause of bleeding and the patient’s physical condition, and cannot be generalized. The high concentration of ethanol in wine can directly damage the gastric mucosa after drinking large amounts of alcohol, resulting in gastric mucosal erosion and bleeding. Usually mild mucosal damage, such as small ulcer surface, less foci of erosion, less bleeding, and the patient is relatively young, can gradually heal itself by adjusting diet, regular rest and other methods to improve lifestyle habits. However, if it is a severe mucosal injury with a large amount of bleeding, accompanied by severe abdominal pain, little urination, dizziness, and decreased blood pressure, it needs to be treated immediately in the gastroenterology department or emergency department to avoid serious complications such as syncope and shock. Because it is difficult to accurately determine, in many cases, whether a patient can heal on his own after stomach bleeding, and thus serious hemorrhage may occur at any time while waiting for self-healing without treatment, it is recommended that patients should seek medical attention immediately after stomach bleeding and be treated symptomatically by a doctor in order to recover health as soon as possible.
