Lung cancer can be said to be the number one tumor disease in China. In recent years, more and more people are suffering from lung cancer, which seriously threatens our life safety, then, how can we prevent lung cancer? Stay away from the five gases to prevent lung cancer Air pollution, water pollution, light pollution and land pollution all have a lot to do with cancer. Today, I will only put forward the ones closely related to lung cancer to share with you, which can be summarized as the following five “gases”. One gas: outdoor air pollution In these years, with the increase of hazy weather, more people are familiar with the term PM2.5. The nasal hairs in our nasal cavity can block PM50 particles, and the cilia in the trachea and bronchial cavity can block PM10 particles, but PM2.5 can drive straight into the alveolar tissue through the bronchi and fine bronchioles, and carry harmful substances or carcinogens in the atmosphere into the blood. According to Beijing’s 2013 air quality test results, last year’s air compliance rate was 48%, and the primary pollutant PM2.5 accounted for 77.8% of the exceeded days. Prolonged exposure to such air pollution and hazy weather will certainly have a significant impact on the development of lung cancer. Second gas: indoor tobacco smoke pollution environmental protection departments and disease control experts have come to the conclusion that outdoor air pollution will bring about 30% of indoor air, for example, if outdoor PM2.5 is 100, indoor is 30, but only if there is zero indoor pollution. However, indoor air cannot be purified, and if it is not taken seriously, indoor air will be dirtier than outdoor. Among them, tobacco smoke pollution is the first source of indoor air pollution. China’s tobacco industry has many people “cited as howling” of the “world’s first”: the first tobacco planting area, the first tobacco acquisition, the first cigarette production, cigarette consumption, the first tobacco tax, the first number of smokers, the number of deaths from smoking-related diseases is also The number of people who die from smoking-related diseases is also the first. There are thousands of chemicals and hundreds of harmful substances in tobacco, and 69 types of carcinogens, which not only cause lung cancer, but also have a great impact on other malignant tumors, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, digestive diseases, and reproductive diseases. As we age, the balance between oncogenes and oncogenes in the body will change and the chance of cancer will increase. Just like arm wrestling, when we are young and powerful, we will press the other side, when we are old and weak, the other side will press us, and with the accumulation of harmful substances in tobacco, the resistance of smokers gradually decreases, and eventually they will lose the battle and produce cancer. It is worth emphasizing that there is a dose-effect relationship between smoking and the occurrence of lung cancer: smoking 25 cigarettes or more per day, the incidence of lung cancer is 227/100,000, 15-24 cigarettes is 139/100,000, and 1-14 cigarettes is 75/100,000. Most of the carcinogens in tobacco smoke diffuse into the air, and these smoke particles are essentially smaller than PM0.5 and far more harmful than PM2.5. Long-term exposure to secondhand smoke, equivalent to the damage caused by light smoking, can increase the incidence of lung cancer by 20% to 30%. Smoking indoors can also cause PM2.5 to skyrocket or even explode. In addition, third-hand smoke has little effect on healthy adults, but has a significant impact on people with respiratory disease, infants and the elderly. Young smokers’ fathers, in particular, hold their children after smoking, with third-hand smoke on their clothes, skin and hair, which can also pose a health risk to infants and children. Therefore, in order to their own health and the health of those around them, smokers friends to quit smoking as soon as possible; even smoking should not be indoors and in the car; non-smokers should also dare to say “no” to smokers, the proposal to let smokers go outside to smoke. Three gas: kitchen fumes pollution kitchen fumes is the second largest element of indoor air pollution. Fuel, kitchen utensils, cooking oil use, cooking methods, the installation and maintenance of range hoods to reduce kitchen fumes pollution have a lot to learn. For example, cooking oil heated to 170 ℃ will appear a small amount of smoke, 250 ℃ will appear a lot of smoke. Frying, deep-frying, stir-frying and barbecue, the oil temperature will be above 260 ℃, the cooking process fumes produced by benzo(a)pyrene, volatile nitrosamines and other human health hazards. The greater the cooking fumes and the longer the exposure time, the greater the risk of lung cancer. Therefore, in order to reduce kitchen fume pollution, attention should be paid to keeping the kitchen ventilated, placing more green plants, less barbecue at home, scientific purchase, installation, use and maintenance of range hoods. Many people fry, always wait for the frying pan smoke before opening the hood, frying immediately after the dish is closed. By saving 8 cents a day on electricity, stir-frying for so many years will probably save more than 600 yuan, but if you get lung cancer, it will cost at least 60,000 yuan. In addition, if kitchen fumes are not discharged in time, they will drift into the living room and bedroom and be deposited on the curtains and furniture, which is difficult to remove. Four gas: air pollution brought by decoration materials The stone used for decoration, especially marble has radon elements, which is a class of carcinogenic substances and long-term exposure to radon pollution will lead to blood cancer and lung cancer. It is recommended to reduce the use of stone as much as possible, or use green stone materials recognized by environmental protection departments. Various paints and adhesives contain a large amount of benzene and formaldehyde, which are also an important part of indoor air pollution. Therefore, it is advisable to decorate with heavy decoration, light decoration, less use of floor leather chemical adhesives, walls can be decorated with word painting. After renovation must be ventilated for a period of time before living; northern areas are recommended to use air purifiers and air humidifiers, the former for PM2.5, the latter for PM10, which will help improve indoor air quality. In addition, more green plants or activated carbon placed in the living room also helps to adsorb pollution particles. Five gas: sulking I call the total sulking “psychological pollution”, the character called cancer personality. When there is a negative event in life or work, such as the loss of a spouse, the death of a loved one, this cancer personality is a long time to adjust the mentality, and not good at communicating with friends and family, the negative impact will be great. Therefore, when you are depressed, you must communicate with your family and friends more often to resolve your emotions and reduce psychological pollution as much as possible. People with withdrawn personalities should learn to adjust themselves, ask for help from a psychologist if necessary, and face negative events correctly.
