How soon can a lymph node become cancerous?

There are no clear clinical statistics on how soon lymph nodes become cancerous. Most lymph nodules are caused by bacterial inflammation, tuberculosis, viral infection, etc. This condition is rarely cancerous. Lymph nodes may also be lymphoma or cancer metastasis, which is itself a malignant tumor and is not transformed from lymph nodes. Lymph nodes, which are often called lymph nodes, are almost inaccessible on the surface of the body under normal circumstances, but when viral or bacterial infection occurs, lymph nodes may be palpable on the surface of the body, accompanied by pressure and pain, usually without adhesions, with clear borders and smooth surfaces, which is a manifestation of the body’s inflammatory response. With the application of antiviral drugs or antibiotics, the lymph nodes can usually return to normal in about 7 days, and the possibility of cancer is low. However, if the lymph nodes persist, do not remit or have a tendency to aggravate, it is necessary to be alert to the possibility of tumor. It is recommended to go to the oncology department or surgery department of the hospital in a timely manner, and if necessary, perfect the lymph node biopsy to clarify the specific diagnosis and take targeted treatment. It is recommended that patients should pay attention to rest, eat a light diet, do not eat spicy and greasy food, and drink more water.
