After the inflammation of lymph nodes is cured, the swollen lymph nodes of the patient will usually subside within 1-2 days. Inflammation of lymph nodes mainly manifests as swollen and painful lymph node volume. Some patients develop purulent infections, which can manifest as skin redness and swelling, fluctuating sensation, etc., often secondary to tonsillitis, upper respiratory tract infections, etc. For lymph nodes where inflammation has not yet formed an abscess, the patient’s symptoms are mild, and the symptoms usually improve in about 3-5 days after anti-infection treatment, and the swollen lymph nodes will slowly subside within 1-2 days. If the lymph node inflammation has formed an abscess, the patient’s symptoms of redness, swelling and pain are more obvious, and surgical incision and drainage are required, which may take more than half a month to improve, and the time for the lymph nodes to swell will be extended accordingly. In addition, patients with lymph node inflammation should pay attention to rest and keep warm on a daily basis to avoid catching cold and flu. Pay attention to a light diet and eat less spicy and stimulating food to help the condition improve and promote swelling reduction.
