What can be found in a shoulder MRI

It is usually possible to observe whether there is damage to the supraspinatus tendon, subscapularis tendon and infraspinatus tendon and other articular tendons and whether the articular glenoid is intact by MRI of the shoulder. MRI of the shoulder can also be used to examine minor bone contusions. CT examinations usually cannot detect lesions, but MRI can reveal increased bone signals and contusive changes in bone trabeculae; MRI is also recommended for patients with traumatic injuries, and MRI of the shoulder can be performed for patients with articular glenoid labral tears.
