How to isolate newborns whose mothers have confirmed or suspected neonatal coronary pneumonia

It is still unclear whether novel coronavirus can be transmitted vertically through the placenta or through breastfeeding, so newborns born to mothers with confirmed or suspected novel coronavirus infection should be isolated and observed for two weeks after birth according to the viral infection process without breastfeeding. Newborns should be assessed for health by a physician, and newborns in good general condition should be isolated at home, while those <34 weeks premature or abnormal after birth should be admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit for isolation and necessary tests and pathogenic sampling for etiological analysis and appropriate treatment, and preventive and control measures should be done during isolation.
