The fifth edition of the NCCP includes all clinically diagnosed cases in Hubei Province as confirmed cases for statistical publication and treatment management.
The newly issued sixth edition of the treatment plan for NCCP, compared to the fifth edition, eliminates the original category of clinically diagnosed cases in Hubei Province. In order to cope with the adjustment of the treatment plan, some cities and states have organized the revision of the clinically confirmed cases reported earlier in accordance with the sixth edition of the treatment plan. Nucleic acid tests were conducted on confirmed cases from the original “clinical diagnosis cases”, and those with negative nucleic acid test results were removed from the confirmed cases through comprehensive analysis, hence the term “revised reduction”.
