Currently, patients with newly crowned pneumonia who meet the discharge criteria should continue to be observed in isolation for 14 days while self-monitoring their health status. Those who are able to do so should live in a single, well-ventilated room and reduce close contact with family and friends.
During the isolation period, minimize the opportunity for contact with other people living with the patient, and maintain a distance of more than 1 meter when contact must be made, all should wear medical masks. The rooms, shared areas and frequently touched objects of isolated persons should be cleaned and disinfected daily. After 14 days of quarantine, the new coronavirus nucleic acid test will be performed again, and a negative test result will release the quarantine, after which normal contact with family and friends will be possible.
